With an opening scheduled for the summer, Healdsburg-based Costeaux French Bakery has announced plans for a new location at the Petaluma Hotel, 110 Washington Street.
“We are very fortunate to have a large fanbase,” said Will Seppi, CEO of Costeaux. “For decades, we have supplied breads, biscotti and more to retailers across the region. Now we are excited to offer more to our customers near and far.
The company’s executive, which has been in the family since 1923, said that, like its location in Santa Rosa, this new Costeaux location would offer customers pastries, sandwiches, salads, quiches, coffee service complete and cakes.
“When we had the opportunity to walk through the Petaluma Hotel space, we knew it was a natural fit,” he said. “Finding yourself in a company founded in 1923, like Costeaux, was very special. Finding out about the hotel’s status as a “hot spot” for Christmas cheer, similar to our location in Healdsburg, was the icing on the cake.
Petaluma will join the bakery company’s four other outlets. This is a café in downtown Healdsburg and another inside Big John’s Market in that city. There’s also the Costeaux On The Go boutique at Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport and Tia Maria by Costeaux in the Roseland neighborhood of southwest Santa Rosa.
Distribution of its products reaches markets, delis and hotels from north San Francisco to Mendocino County, the company said.
