Historic Hotels of America has released its Top 25 “Most Beautiful Gardens” list for 2022 and French Lick Resort is among the recognized hotels. The list features “some of the most magnificent and beautiful storybook gardens” among the hotels, resorts and inns in the program.
French Lick Resort is listed on the garden list of its two hotels: French Lick Springs Hotel and West Baden Springs Hotel.
“Between the two hotels, there are more than 40 different varieties of flowering perennials and 17 different varieties of summer annuals each year,” Historic Hotels of America said. “About 11,000 summer annuals are planted in numerous flower beds, hanging baskets and planters. Trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals can be seen in bloom from April through November throughout the complex. Annuals summer are installed in mid-May.
French Lick Resort is Indiana’s only inclusion on the list. Last month, the French Lick Springs Hotel was also named to Historic Hotels of America’s 2022 list of 25 Most Unique Culinary Heritages and Culinary Traditions.
